On the top floor of the Harold Washington Library (pictured at the left) there is a little nook off to the side where you can see some of the other models that were entered in the original design/build competition which lost out to the design which the city sponsored when it was looking to build a new library. These were the "also rans" which lost out to the design which was finally chosen for the library.Saturday, July 18, 2009
